Starbucks has become one of the worlds most well known coffeehouse chains. From it's iconic logo to the endless amount of drink options, this business knows how to hook people into indulgence. However, you may want to reconsider your next latte...maybe Starbucks isn't so great. Here is a list of reasons why: 

1. High Sugar Content

One of the biggest concerns with Starbucks drinks is their high sugar content. Many popular beverages, such as frappuccinos and flavored lattes, are loaded with sugar. For instance, a grande Caramel Frappuccino contains over 60 grams of sugar, which is more than double the recommended daily limit for adults (and that's a grande… you can have two sizes bigger than that). Despite complaints from customers all around the world, Starbucks prices are still rising and making loyal customers go broke for coffee. As of now, a grande oat milk latte is $5.95. If you drink one oat milk latte a day for a year you will have spent $2,171 on coffee.
